PRETREATMENT LINES
Materials used in production must cover with paint and durable material to increase the durability and life of the materials. Surface must be clean for this operation to be possible. Pretreatment operation is done before painting. Pretreatment lines are designed to make this process easy.
The paint must adhere firmly to the surface for durability of paint. Adhering of paint depends surface cleaning.
If there is rust, dust or especially oil on the surface, paint can’t adhere firmly. Before the painting all foreign materials are removed from the surface. The pre-process must be the same for all work surfaces. Surface cleaning process can be a simple cleaning operation or complex and multiechelon operation. When metals contact with oxygen the metal can be oxidised. Painting can protect against metal to oxidise because paint cuts off the surface contact with oxygen.
